Strontium Ferrite Pot Magnet, Diameter: 80 mm, with Hole
In a pot magnet, the purpose-sized steel housing is both a design challenge and an advantage. It directs flux towards the contact surface, giving a controlled magnetic attachment point in workshops and industrial environments. Ferrite (strontium ferrite) is a ceramic magnetic material with good resistance to corrosion and stable properties. With a pot housing, it provides a secure industrial attachment point. This version with Hole, allowing screw mounting to a holder, which is useful when a non-threaded version is required. (Quick specifications: Tmax: 200 °C)
Paint, film, surface roughness and any air gap reduce flux and holding force. A pot magnet performs best in direct contact with solid steel. Typical uses include assembly aids, temporary attachments, labels and signs, simple holders and workshop positioning. In hot environments, check the maximum temperature in the table and avoid sustained overload.
Warning: not suitable for children. Attachment at the contact surface can be strong, and impacts may damage the insert. Keep away from cards and electronics.
