By purchasing from the www.euromagnet.com webshop, you declare that you have read and accepted the contractual terms, data-processing principles and all provisions governing the use and services of the website and webshop.

Products and services available for purchase

The webshop sells magnets, magnetic devices, tools and other accessory products. Images shown with the products are for illustration only and may differ from the actual products. Please do not order solely on the basis of an image; make sure the product is suitable by reading the technical and other information provided. Displayed product prices do not include home-delivery charges.

Products can be collected from our customer service location at 1172 Budapest, Rétifarkas utca 8, or delivery may be requested using our contracted courier service. Choose from the delivery and collection options shown at checkout.

Our prices are gross prices and include VAT. Prices are for one product unless the description states that the price applies to a package.

Domestic delivery charges

Home delivery with cash on delivery – gross HUF 2,650 throughout Hungary, regardless of parcel value, up to 40 kg.

Home delivery with advance bank transfer – gross HUF 2,200 throughout Hungary, regardless of parcel value, up to 40 kg.

GLS courier service delivers parcels to the specified delivery address between 8:00 and 16:00. The parcel contains the invoice. Please inspect the parcel in the presence of the courier upon delivery and, if any product damage is found, request that a damage report be drawn up. We are unable to accept subsequent damage claims without such a report.

Registration

Registration takes less than one minute. Please enter your details accurately so delivery can proceed smoothly. When purchasing with a registered account, you can track your order.

Order process

1. On the product page, select the quantity, then click “Add to Cart”. You can view your cart by clicking the cart icon in the site header.

1. To select more products, close the side cart and continue browsing.

1. Repeat the process described in point 1 for every product you wish to purchase.

1. Review your products in the side cart or on the cart page opened using “View Cart”. You can change quantities and remove unwanted items. The cart updates automatically when you change a quantity.

1. Click “Checkout” in your cart to proceed to checkout. Enter the requested contact, delivery and billing details, then choose from the available delivery and payment methods.

1. Before submitting your order, check your details, products, delivery and payment methods, and the total amount payable. Submit your order using the final order button at checkout.

1. The system will send an automatic email about the order. Please do not reply to this email. If you have a question or request, contact our colleagues at info@euromagnet.hu or ugyfelszolgalat@euromagnet.hu.

Orders are processed on business days between 8:00 and 12:00. Orders placed by 12:00 for products in stock may be handed over to our courier service on the same day, allowing delivery as early as the following day.

Delivery methods

- Personal collection from our customer service location during opening hours (Monday–Thursday: 8:00–16:30; Friday: 8:00–14:00).
- Courier service – cash on delivery: the order value and delivery charge must be paid to the courier upon receipt; this method has an additional gross cost of HUF 2,650.
- Courier service – advance bank transfer: after placing the order, please do not transfer payment until our colleague has confirmed it. For advance-payment orders, always wait for our confirmation and only then transfer the value of the order and delivery. This method has an additional gross cost of HUF 2,200.

- secure online payment through the CIB Bank Zrt. system (if you select this payment method, please note that our company accepts no responsibility for stock shortages caused by inventory movements. For orders that cannot be fulfilled due to a stock shortage but have already been paid online, we will refund the order value to your bank account no later than 30 days after the purchase).

For delivery by courier
- cash on delivery, with a gross cost of HUF 2,650, payable to the courier together with the price of the goods
- advance bank transfer, with a gross cost of HUF 2,200; after confirmation from our colleague, the price of the goods and delivery can be transferred to our bank account
- secure online payment through the CIB Bank Zrt. system (if you select this payment method, please note that our company accepts no responsibility for stock shortages caused by inventory movements. For orders that cannot be fulfilled due to a stock shortage but have already been paid online, we will refund the order value to your bank account no later than 30 days after the purchase). This payment method is treated as advance payment, therefore your order can be delivered for a gross charge of HUF 2,200.

- For advance bank transfer, please do not transfer the order amount until our colleague has confirmed the order. In the event of inventory movements or stock shortages, banking and communication costs arising from refunding an erroneous transfer are borne by the customer; this charge is 15% of the transferred amount, with a minimum of HUF 1,000.

- If cash on delivery is selected, the ordered product must be paid for to the courier when the parcel is received. If a parcel is not accepted and is returned, we can resend it only after the original purchase amount, its delivery charge and the costs relating to the previously ordered goods have been paid in advance by bank transfer.

Costs of resending after a returned parcel:

- purchase amount: gross HUF 1,990
- delivery charge with advance transfer: gross HUF 2,200
- original delivery charge: gross HUF 2,650
- total: gross HUF 6,840

For advance bank transfer, after confirmation we can hand the products over to our courier service only once the full amount has been received or proof of transfer has been provided. Orders may also be placed outside the stated order-processing times; if an order is placed after working hours, it will be processed on the following day.

Our system sends an automatic email about your order. Using the order number shown in that email, you can enquire about your order through any of our contact channels or track it on your user page under “My Previous Orders”.

For successful delivery, please make sure you are reachable at the address and telephone number provided.

Warranty

A warranty claim cannot be made if the protective surface coating of a magnet has been damaged. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper use, so please read the instructions for use and the safety instructions carefully.

Right of withdrawal

Within 14 days of receiving the ordered product, the customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase. During this period, the customer must notify the company of the withdrawal clearly and in writing. Euromagnet Hungary Kft. does not use standard postal delivery, therefore in the event of withdrawal our company may charge the additional cost of delivery. You may also request standard postal delivery; its charge always depends on the weight of the parcel and, in addition to the postal charge, our company may charge a gross handling fee of HUF 500. The cost of returning the goods is borne by the customer in all cases.

Please note that if you have put the product into use after purchase, you may no longer withdraw from the purchase. The right of withdrawal does not provide 14 days of free use of the product; it provides an opportunity to inspect the product, in the same way as you can inspect a product purchased in a physical store.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made products manufactured specifically according to the customer's individual requirements.

Procedure for exercising the right of withdrawal

If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you may do so in writing by letter or email, referring to the product and the order ID. The right of withdrawal may be exercised within 14 days of receiving the product.

For withdrawal by post, the date on which the letter is posted is taken into account when calculating the 14-day period. We recommend sending the letter by registered post so the date of posting can be clearly proven.

Return the ordered product to our company address. Postal costs relating to the return are borne by the customer. Do not return the product cash on delivery. We cannot accept parcels returned cash on delivery, and the cost of sending such parcels back is also borne by the customer.

The warranty does not apply to products used improperly, and the customer is also responsible for damage resulting from improper use. Within 14 days after the returned product arrives, the product price will be transferred back to the bank account number provided. If, after inspection or testing, the product differs in quality from its original condition because of damage caused during testing, a warranty claim cannot be made.

Data processing

Personal data provided while using the webshop are treated confidentially and are not disclosed to third parties. An exception is information that must be provided to subcontractors in order to fulfil the order, for example delivery information provided to the courier service.

While browsing the webshop, technical information is recorded, for example in log files containing the user's IP address, time and the URL of the page visited. This information is not used for personal identification but serves statistical purposes. The system also stores data on the user's computer in the form of cookies. Cookies are not suitable for identifying the user personally and remain active for the duration of the session.

An invoice is issued for the ordered product and is retained in the manner and for the period required by applicable legislation.

You may request deletion or modification of your data in writing at any time. Independently of this, you may remove yourself from the newsletter subscriber list without deleting your registration. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter by letter, email or by using the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of newsletters.
