Strontium Ferrite Pot Magnet, Diameter: 67 mm, with Hole
The pot magnet is a magnet assembly containing a permanent magnet in a steel housing. The housing partly closes the magnetic circuit and directs flux from the pole towards the contact surface, improving holding force in direct contact compared with a bare magnet. In this version, the magnetic insert is strontium ferrite (ceramic). Its benefits include good corrosion resistance, stability and generally better heat tolerance, although it provides less strength than neodymium for the same size. This version with Hole, allowing screw mounting to a holder, which is useful when a non-threaded version is required. (Quick specifications: Tmax: 200 °C)
Allow a greater safety margin for sideways loads and carry out a trial installation for the specific application. Typical uses include assembly aids, temporary attachments, labels and signs, simple holders and workshop positioning. The table specifies the maximum operating temperature. Ferrite inserts generally tolerate higher temperatures, but observe the specified limit.
Warning: keep away from children. The magnet can pinch fingers and chip or crack on impact. Store with spacers and keep away from bank cards, sensitive electronics and medical devices such as pacemakers.
