Strontium Ferrite Pot Magnet, Diameter: 63 mm, Internally Threaded
The pot magnet is a magnet assembly containing a permanent magnet in a steel housing. The housing partly closes the magnetic circuit and directs flux from the pole towards the contact surface, improving holding force in direct contact compared with a bare magnet. The strontium ferrite insert offers a durable, reliable solution. It is a good choice where stable operation, heat resistance and environmental resistance are more important than maximum strength. The internally threaded design allows repeated repositioning while providing secure mechanical attachment. (Quick specifications: thread: M8; Tmax: 200 °C)
Paint, film, surface roughness and any air gap reduce flux and holding force. A pot magnet performs best in direct contact with solid steel. A good choice where a reusable, stable attachment point is needed on steel and a more corrosion-resistant ferrite insert is beneficial. For applications involving heat, use the Tmax value as the limit. Ferrite generally tolerates heat well, but observe the limits of the assembly.
Warning: not suitable for children. Attachment at the contact surface can be strong, and impacts may damage the insert. Keep away from cards and electronics.
