Strontium Ferrite Pot Magnet, Diameter: 100 mm, with Hole
In a pot magnet, the purpose-sized steel housing is both a design challenge and an advantage. It directs flux towards the contact surface, giving a controlled magnetic attachment point in workshops and industrial environments. In this version, the magnetic insert is strontium ferrite (ceramic). Its benefits include good corrosion resistance, stability and generally better heat tolerance, although it provides less strength than neodymium for the same size. The version with a hole suits rigid installation: screw it into place to secure the pot magnet. (Quick specifications: Tmax: 200 °C)
Paint, film, surface roughness and any air gap reduce flux and holding force. A pot magnet performs best in direct contact with solid steel. A good choice where a reusable, stable attachment point is needed on steel and a more corrosion-resistant ferrite insert is beneficial. The table specifies the maximum operating temperature. Ferrite inserts generally tolerate higher temperatures, but observe the specified limit.
Warning: technical product. Bring magnets together and separate them carefully. Avoid impacts and keep away from electronics and medical devices.
