Strontium Ferrite Pot Magnet, Diameter: 80 mm, with Stem, Internally Threaded
The pot magnet construction consists of a magnetic insert and a steel housing. The steel housing directs the magnetic field, concentrates it at the working surface and protects the insert from mechanical damage. The strontium ferrite insert offers a durable, reliable solution. It is a good choice where stable operation, heat resistance and environmental resistance are more important than maximum strength. The internally threaded design allows repeated repositioning while providing secure mechanical attachment. With an integrated stud, the pot magnet can be mounted quickly through a hole using a washer and nut. (Quick specifications: D = 80 mm; H = 18 mm; L = 32 mm; thread: M10; Tmax: 200 °C)
Allow a greater safety margin for sideways loads and carry out a trial installation for the specific application. Common applications include removable attachments, brackets, stops and workshop organisation, making use of ferrite's stability and the benefits of the pot housing. For applications involving heat, use the Tmax value as the limit. Ferrite generally tolerates heat well, but observe the limits of the assembly.
Warning: keep away from children. The magnet can pinch fingers and chip or crack on impact. Store with spacers and keep away from bank cards, sensitive electronics and medical devices such as pacemakers.
