Strontium Ferrite Pot Magnet, Diameter: 80 mm, Internally Threaded
The pot magnet is a magnet assembly containing a permanent magnet in a steel housing. The housing partly closes the magnetic circuit and directs flux from the pole towards the contact surface, improving holding force in direct contact compared with a bare magnet. The strontium ferrite insert offers a durable, reliable solution. It is a good choice where stable operation, heat resistance and environmental resistance are more important than maximum strength. The internal thread allows easy mounting of the pot magnet with a threaded rod or screw for quick, neat installation. (Quick specifications: thread: M10; Tmax: 200 °C)
Paint, film, surface roughness and any air gap reduce flux and holding force. A pot magnet performs best in direct contact with solid steel. A good choice where a reusable, stable attachment point is needed on steel and a more corrosion-resistant ferrite insert is beneficial. The table specifies the maximum operating temperature. Ferrite inserts generally tolerate higher temperatures, but observe the specified limit.
Warning: technical product. Bring magnets together and separate them carefully. Avoid impacts and keep away from electronics and medical devices.
