Strontium Ferrite Pot Magnet, Diameter: 50 mm, with Hole
In a pot magnet, the purpose-sized steel housing is both a design challenge and an advantage. It directs flux towards the contact surface, giving a controlled magnetic attachment point in workshops and industrial environments. Ferrite (strontium ferrite) is a ceramic magnetic material with good resistance to corrosion and stable properties. With a pot housing, it provides a secure industrial attachment point. This version with Hole, allowing screw mounting to a holder, which is useful when a non-threaded version is required. (Quick specifications: Tmax: 200 °C)
The holding force in the technical table is a nominal value measured by perpendicular pull-off from thick, flat, clean steel in direct contact. Shear loads, paint, gaps and thin sheet metal can significantly reduce the actual load capacity. Common applications include removable attachments, brackets, stops and workshop organisation, making use of ferrite's stability and the benefits of the pot housing. The table specifies the maximum operating temperature. Ferrite inserts generally tolerate higher temperatures, but observe the specified limit.
Warning: not suitable for children. Attachment at the contact surface can be strong, and impacts may damage the insert. Keep away from cards and electronics.
