Pot Magnet Ø32 mm with External Thread
The pot magnet is a magnet assembly containing a permanent magnet in a steel housing. The housing forms a magnetic circuit and directs flux from the poles towards the contact surface. In direct contact, holding force is typically much greater than that of a bare neodymium magnet. The housing and protective coating of a pot magnet can be selected to suit its application. This version uses a neodymium (NdFeB) insert for high holding force. Nickel coating protects the surface and improves durability in normal environments. Externally threaded design: ideal for brackets and threaded inserts where the magnetic attachment point can simply be screwed into place. Nominal diameter: Ø32 mm. Nominal pull-off force under ideal conditions: 35 kg (350 N).
Important: holding force is a nominal value for ideal conditions. Paint, film, surface roughness or an air gap reduce magnetic flux and therefore the actual holding force. Common applications include removable attachments in manufacturing and workshops, positioning, door and lid catches, temporary mounting and holding parts during assembly. Snapping together suddenly with other magnets or steel can cause chipping. Use spacers when installing and storing magnets. Standard NdFeB magnets can typically be used up to approximately 80°C. High temperatures can permanently reduce magnetism. Check the technical table for the exact limit.
Warning: technical product. Bring magnets together and separate them carefully. Keep away from children and devices sensitive to magnetic fields.
