Pot Magnet Ø32 mm with Internal Thread
The pot magnet is a magnet assembly containing a permanent magnet in a steel housing. The housing forms a magnetic circuit and directs flux from the poles towards the contact surface. In direct contact, holding force is typically much greater than that of a bare neodymium magnet. The housing and protective coating of a pot magnet can be selected to suit its application. This version uses a neodymium (NdFeB) insert for high holding force. Nickel coating protects the surface and improves durability in normal environments. The internal thread allows quick mounting to a holder using a screw or threaded rod, with easy relocation when needed. Nominal diameter: Ø32 mm. Nominal pull-off force under ideal conditions: 35 kg (350 N).
The specified holding force (pull-off force) is a laboratory value: perpendicular pull-off on thick, flat, clean steel in direct contact. Under real conditions, including shear loads, thin sheet metal, paint or gaps, load capacity may be considerably lower. Useful wherever a quick, reusable attachment point is needed on steel, including holders, accessories and temporary assemblies. Snapping together suddenly with other magnets or steel can cause chipping. Use spacers when installing and storing magnets. Observe the specified maximum operating temperature. Exceeding it may cause partial or permanent loss of magnetic strength.
Warning: technical product. Bring magnets together and separate them carefully. Keep away from children and devices sensitive to magnetic fields.
