Pot Magnet Ø12 mm with Countersunk Hole
The pot magnet construction consists of a neodymium magnet insert and a steel housing. The steel housing directs the magnetic field to concentrate it at the working surface, reduces stray flux and partly protects the insert from mechanical damage. The housing material and insert type of a pot magnet depend on its application. This product uses a neodymium (NdFeB) insert to provide a strong attachment in a compact space. Nickel coating protects the surface and improves durability in normal environments. This version with a countersunk mounting hole, allowing secure screw mounting to a bracket or plate without adhesive. Nominal diameter: Ø12 mm. Nominal pull-off force under ideal conditions: 3,5 kg (35 N).
Important: holding force is a nominal value for ideal conditions. Paint, film, surface roughness or an air gap reduce magnetic flux and therefore the actual holding force. Useful wherever a quick, reusable attachment point is needed on steel, including holders, accessories and temporary assemblies. The pot partly protects the insert, but impacts can still damage it. Use moderate tightening force during installation and a washer where necessary. Observe the specified maximum operating temperature. Exceeding it may cause partial or permanent loss of magnetic strength.
Warning: keep away from children. Strong magnetic attraction can pinch fingers. Magnets can snap together suddenly and break. Store them with spacers and keep them away from bank cards, sensitive electronics and medical devices such as pacemakers.
