Pot Magnet Ø60 mm with Countersunk Hole
The pot magnets contain a neodymium magnet in a purpose-sized steel housing. The housing directs magnetic flux towards the contact surface, providing greater, more controlled holding force for a given size in industrial and workshop applications. The housing material and insert type of a pot magnet depend on its application. This product uses a neodymium (NdFeB) insert to provide a strong attachment in a compact space. Nickel coating protects the surface and improves durability in normal environments. The countersunk hole allows screw mounting with the screw head closer to the surface plane, which is useful when a flat contact surface is required. Nominal diameter: Ø60 mm. Nominal pull-off force under ideal conditions: 95 kg (950 N).
Important: holding force is a nominal value for ideal conditions. Paint, film, surface roughness or an air gap reduce magnetic flux and therefore the actual holding force. Common applications include removable attachments in manufacturing and workshops, positioning, door and lid catches, temporary mounting and holding parts during assembly. Although the steel housing protects the insert, NdFeB is hard but brittle. Avoid impacts and do not overtighten screws during installation. Standard NdFeB magnets can typically be used up to approximately 80°C. High temperatures can permanently reduce magnetism. Check the technical table for the exact limit.
Warning: technical product. Bring magnets together and separate them carefully. Keep away from children and devices sensitive to magnetic fields.
