Pot Magnet Ø25 mm with External Thread
The pot magnet construction consists of a neodymium magnet insert and a steel housing. The steel housing directs the magnetic field to concentrate it at the working surface, reduces stray flux and partly protects the insert from mechanical damage. The housing and protective coating of a pot magnet can be selected to suit its application. This version uses a neodymium (NdFeB) insert for high holding force. Nickel-coated for improved surface protection and appearance. The with an external thread installation is quick: screw it into the mating component to create a magnetic attachment point. Nominal diameter: Ø25 mm. Nominal pull-off force under ideal conditions: 10 kg (100 N).
The pot magnet performs best on solid steel with a minimal air gap. Allow a safety margin for sideways loads and carry out a trial installation. Useful wherever a quick, reusable attachment point is needed on steel, including holders, accessories and temporary assemblies. Snapping together suddenly with other magnets or steel can cause chipping. Use spacers when installing and storing magnets. For applications involving heat, check the maximum temperature in the table and avoid direct heat sources.
Warning: not suitable for children. Strong attraction can cause pinching injuries, and impacts may cause chipping. Keep away from electronics and medical devices.
