Pot Magnet Ø25 mm with Countersunk Hole

The pot magnet construction consists of a neodymium magnet insert and a steel housing. The steel housing directs the magnetic field to concentrate it at the working surface, reduces stray flux and partly protects the insert from mechanical damage. Pot magnets can use various magnetic materials, including Alnico, samarium cobalt and ferrite. This series uses neodymium (NdFeB) inserts for their high strength-to-volume ratio. The surface is nickel-coated, typically NiCuNi, to help protect against corrosion and provide a uniform industrial finish. This version with a countersunk mounting hole, allowing secure screw mounting to a bracket or plate without adhesive. Nominal diameter: Ø25 mm. Nominal pull-off force under ideal conditions: 12,5 kg (125 N).

Important: holding force is a nominal value for ideal conditions. Paint, film, surface roughness or an air gap reduce magnetic flux and therefore the actual holding force. Common applications include removable attachments in manufacturing and workshops, positioning, door and lid catches, temporary mounting and holding parts during assembly. Snapping together suddenly with other magnets or steel can cause chipping. Use spacers when installing and storing magnets. Standard NdFeB magnets can typically be used up to approximately 80°C. High temperatures can permanently reduce magnetism. Check the technical table for the exact limit.

Warning: not suitable for children. Strong attraction can cause pinching injuries, and impacts may cause chipping. Keep away from electronics and medical devices.
