Neodymium Rod Magnet 4 x 8 mm N48
Neodymium (NdFeB) is among the strongest magnetic materials and provides substantial holding force for its size. It is much stronger than conventional ferrite magnets and generally has a protective coating because the material can corrode over time. N48 indicates the magnetic grade, commonly ranging from N35 to N52; higher numbers generally indicate greater magnetic attraction. The cylinder magnet can be incorporated discreetly into components, holders or housings and is easy to align.
At Ø4×8 mm, this magnet is useful for magnetic catches, DIY, organisation and lighter attachments to steel. (Ø4×8 mm) For best results, ensure direct contact with the surface. The magnet provides a particularly strong hold on solid steel.
Warning: keep away from children. Swallowing magnets can be life-threatening. Seek immediate medical attention if swallowing is suspected. Magnets can snap together quickly and pinch fingers. They are hard but brittle, so do not allow them to collide. Keep them away from bank cards, sensitive electronics and medical devices.
