Neodymium Rod Magnet 4 x 28 mm N35
Neodymium (NdFeB) is among the strongest magnetic materials and provides substantial holding force for its size. Compared with ferrite, neodymium provides much greater magnetic attraction. The magnet generally has a protective surface coating. N35 indicates the magnetic grade. NdFeB grades commonly range from N35 to N52. The cylindrical shape is practical: it fits readily into a hole or recess and provides good contact on flat metal surfaces.
This size suits compact applications, including small attachments and simple assemblies on flat metal surfaces. (Ø4×28 mm) Holding force depends strongly on the thickness and condition of the metal surface. It is greater on thick steel and weaker on thin sheet metal.
Warning: keep away from children. Swallowing magnets can be life-threatening. Seek immediate medical attention if swallowing is suspected. Magnets can snap together suddenly, pinch skin and chip or break on impact. Separate them by sliding them apart. Keep them away from medical devices, cards and sensitive electronics.
