Neodymium Rod Magnet 4 x 12 mm N48
A neodymium (NdFeB) cylinder magnet is very strong. It is magnetised in a strong magnetic field during manufacture, providing high magnetic attraction in a compact size. Alongside high magnetic attraction, the surface coating helps improve durability. N48 indicates the magnetic grade. NdFeB grades commonly range from N35 to N52, with higher numbers generally indicating stronger magnets. The cylindrical design makes it easy to install and useful for attachments, alignment and compact assemblies.
At Ø4×12 mm, this magnet is useful for magnetic catches, DIY, organisation and lighter attachments to steel. (Ø4×12 mm) Paint, film or gaps noticeably reduce magnetic attraction. The magnet performs best on a flat, clean surface.
Warning: keep out of reach of children. Swallowing magnets poses a serious risk and requires immediate medical attention. Magnets can snap together quickly and pinch fingers. They are hard but brittle, so do not allow them to collide. Keep them away from medical devices, cards and sensitive electronics.
