Neodymium Rod Magnet 3 x 10 mm N35
NdFeB (neodymium) magnets provide high magnetic attraction for their size, making them popular for technical and DIY applications. Compared with ferrite, neodymium provides much greater magnetic attraction. The magnet generally has a protective surface coating. N35 indicates the magnetic grade. NdFeB grades commonly range from N35 to N52. The cylindrical shape is practical: it fits readily into a hole or recess and provides good contact on flat metal surfaces.
The Ø3×10 mm cylinder is useful for DIY projects, including lids, boxes, small holders and quick attachments. (Ø3×10 mm) Paint, film or gaps noticeably reduce magnetic attraction. The magnet performs best on a flat, clean surface.
Warning: keep out of reach of children. Swallowing magnets poses a serious risk and requires immediate medical attention. Magnets can snap together quickly and pinch fingers. They are hard but brittle, so do not allow them to collide. Keep them away from medical devices, cards and sensitive electronics.
