Neodymium Rod Magnet 2 x 3 mm N48
NdFeB (neodymium) magnets provide high magnetic attraction for their size, making them popular for technical and DIY applications. Alongside high magnetic attraction, the surface coating helps improve durability. N48 indicates the magnetic grade. NdFeB grades commonly range from N35 to N52. The cylinder magnet can be incorporated discreetly into components, holders or housings and is easy to align.
Suitable for smaller projects and discreet attachments, and easy to incorporate into an assembly. (Ø2×3 mm) Holding force depends strongly on the thickness and condition of the metal surface. It is greater on thick steel and weaker on thin sheet metal.
Warning: not suitable for children. Swallowed magnets can cause serious injuries. Seek urgent medical attention. Magnets can snap together suddenly, pinch skin and chip or break on impact. Separate them by sliding them apart. Keep them away from bank cards, sensitive electronics and medical devices.
