Neodymium Rod Magnet 2 x 10 mm N48
Neodymium (NdFeB) is among the strongest magnetic materials and provides substantial holding force for its size. Alongside high magnetic attraction, the surface coating helps improve durability. N48 indicates the magnetic grade. NdFeB grades commonly range from N35 to N52. The cylindrical shape is practical: it fits readily into a hole or recess and provides good contact on flat metal surfaces.
Its small size suits precision work, including model making, prototypes, sensors, electronics and experiments. (Ø2×10 mm) Holding force depends strongly on the thickness and condition of the metal surface. It is greater on thick steel and weaker on thin sheet metal.
Warning: keep away from children. Swallowing magnets can be life-threatening. Seek immediate medical attention if swallowing is suspected. Magnets can snap together quickly and pinch fingers. They are hard but brittle, so do not allow them to collide. Keep them away from bank cards, sensitive electronics and medical devices.
