Neodymium Disc Magnet 8 x 4 mm N35
 
Neodymium (NdFeB) is among the strongest magnetic materials, even in small sizes, and its stability makes it useful for many practical applications. It is noticeably stronger than conventional ferrite magnets and generally has a protective coating because the material is prone to corrosion. The N35 magnet belongs to the NdFeB family, commonly ranging from N35 to N52; a higher number generally means greater magnetic attraction.
 
The Ø8 × 4 mm size is suitable for DIY projects, small holders, catches and temporary attachments to steel. For good results, use a clean metal surface that is as thick as possible. Any gap caused by thick paint or an uneven surface reduces holding force.
 
Warning: keep out of reach of children. Magnets can snap together suddenly, pinch skin and chip or break on impact. Handle them carefully when bringing them together or separating them. Keep them away from sensitive electronics, cards and medical devices.
