Neodymium Disc Magnet 6 x 4 mm N48
Neodymium (NdFeB) is among the strongest magnetic materials, even in small sizes, and its stability makes it useful for many practical applications. Neodymium is much stronger than ferrite, and its protective coating helps prevent corrosion. N48 indicates the magnetic grade; a higher number generally means a stronger magnet, with grades commonly ranging from N35 to N52.
The Ø6 × 4 mm size is suitable for DIY projects, small holders, catches and temporary attachments to steel. Even a small gap caused by thick paint, tape or an uneven surface noticeably reduces holding force. It performs best on solid steel.
Warning: not suitable for children. Strong magnets can snap together suddenly, causing pinching injuries, and may break. Bring them together and separate them carefully. Keep them away from sensitive electronics, cards and medical devices.
