Neodymium Disc Magnet 6 x 3 mm N48
A neodymium magnet (NdFeB) is a very strong magnet produced by aligning the alloy particles in a strong magnetic field during manufacture. Compared with conventional ferrite magnets, neodymium provides much greater magnetic attraction. A protective coating helps improve durability. N48 indicates the magnetic grade; a higher number generally means a stronger magnet, with NdFeB grades commonly ranging from N35 to N52.
At Ø6 × 3 mm, this magnet is useful for magnetic catches, workshop organisation, DIY projects and lighter attachments to metal surfaces. Even a small gap caused by thick paint, tape or an uneven surface noticeably reduces holding force. It performs best on solid steel.
Warning: not suitable for children. Strong magnets can snap together suddenly, causing pinching injuries, and may break. Bring them together and separate them carefully. Keep them away from bank cards, sensitive electronics and medical devices.
