Neodymium Disc Magnet 5 x 5 mm N35

A neodymium magnet (NdFeB) is a very strong magnet produced by aligning the alloy particles in a strong magnetic field during manufacture. Neodymium is much stronger than ferrite, and its protective coating helps prevent corrosion. The N35 magnet belongs to the NdFeB family, commonly ranging from N35 to N52; a higher number generally means greater magnetic attraction.

At Ø5 × 5 mm, this magnet provides a good hold on metal and is useful at home, in workshops and for a variety of projects. Even a small gap caused by thick paint, tape or an uneven surface noticeably reduces holding force. It performs best on solid steel.

Warning: keep out of reach of children. Magnets can snap together suddenly, pinch skin and chip or break on impact. Handle them carefully when bringing them together or separating them. Keep them away from bank cards, hard drives, sensitive electronics and medical devices.
