Neodymium Disc Magnet 15 x 2.5 mm N48
A neodymium magnet (NdFeB) is a very strong magnet produced by aligning the alloy particles in a strong magnetic field during manufacture. Compared with conventional ferrite magnets, neodymium provides much greater magnetic attraction. A protective coating helps improve durability. N48 indicates the magnetic grade; a higher number generally means a stronger magnet, with NdFeB grades commonly ranging from N35 to N52.
At Ø15 × 2.5 mm, this magnet is useful for magnetic catches, workshop organisation, DIY projects and lighter attachments to metal surfaces. For good results, use a clean metal surface that is as thick as possible. Any gap caused by thick paint or an uneven surface reduces holding force.
Warning: keep away from children. Two magnets can snap together quickly, pinch fingers and crack or chip. Use spacers for storage and take care when separating them. Keep them away from bank cards, sensitive electronics and medical devices.
