Neodymium Disc Magnet 12 x 5 mm N48
An NdFeB (neodymium) magnet provides high magnetic attraction for its size, making it useful for technical projects, DIY and quick attachments. It is noticeably stronger than conventional ferrite magnets and generally has a protective coating because the material is prone to corrosion. N48 indicates the magnetic grade; NdFeB grades commonly range from N35 to N52, with higher numbers generally indicating stronger magnets.
At Ø12 × 5 mm, this magnet provides a strong hold for quick assemblies, tools, DIY and general applications on steel. The metal material and thickness strongly affect performance. A thicker, flatter surface gives a better hold.
Warning: keep away from children. Two magnets can snap together quickly, pinch fingers and crack or chip. Use spacers for storage and take care when separating them. Keep them away from bank cards, sensitive electronics and medical devices.
