Neodymium Block Magnet 8 x 8 x 20 mm N35
An NdFeB (neodymium) magnet provides high magnetic attraction for its size, making it useful for technical projects and practical attachments. It is much stronger than conventional ferrite magnets and generally has a protective coating because the material can corrode over time. N35 indicates the magnetic grade; NdFeB grades commonly range from N35 to N52, with higher numbers generally indicating stronger magnets. This version magnetised along the length, with poles on the end faces. The field acts mainly along the length, which can be useful for edge mounting or directional attraction.
The 8×8×20 mm size provides a strong hold for practical tasks, including quick assemblies, attachments and technical projects. Even a small gap caused by paint, tape or clearance noticeably reduces magnetic attraction. It performs best on solid steel.
Warning: not suitable for children. Two magnets can snap together quickly, pinch fingers and crack or chip. Separate them carefully and avoid impacts. Keep them away from bank cards, sensitive electronics and medical devices.
