Neodymium Block Magnet 50 x 10 x 5 mm N48
Neodymium (NdFeB) is among the strongest magnetic materials and provides substantial holding force for its size. Compared with ferrite, neodymium provides much greater magnetic attraction. A protective surface coating helps improve durability. N48 indicates the magnetic grade. NdFeB grades commonly range from N35 to N52, with higher numbers generally indicating stronger magnets. The rectangular block shape is practical for assembly. It is easy to align, provides a good contact surface and fits well into fixtures and grooves.
The larger size suits demanding tasks such as strong attachments, handling, assembly and robust projects, with careful handling. Even a small gap caused by paint, tape or clearance noticeably reduces magnetic attraction. It performs best on solid steel.
Warning: not suitable for children. Two magnets can snap together quickly, pinch fingers and crack or chip. Separate them carefully and avoid impacts. Keep them away from bank cards, sensitive electronics and medical devices.
