Neodymium Block Magnet 50 x 10 x 10 mm N52
A neodymium magnet (NdFeB) is a very strong magnet magnetised in a strong magnetic field during manufacture, providing high magnetic attraction in a compact size. Compared with ferrite, neodymium provides much greater magnetic attraction. A protective surface coating helps improve durability. N52 indicates the magnetic grade. The usual range is N35 to N52, with higher numbers generally indicating greater magnetic attraction. The block shape is easy to position, provides a large contact area on flat surfaces and fits readily into a variety of holders.
This size provides substantial magnetic attraction and is suitable for strong attachments and robust projects. Holding force depends strongly on the thickness and condition of the metal surface. It is greater on thick steel than on thin sheet metal.
Warning: keep away from children. Strong attraction can cause pinching injuries, and the magnets may break. Store them with spacers. Keep them away from bank cards, sensitive electronics and medical devices.
