Neodymium Block Magnet 40 x 10 x 10 mm N48
An NdFeB (neodymium) magnet provides high magnetic attraction for its size, making it useful for technical projects, DIY and industrial applications. Its magnetic attraction is greater than that of ferrite magnets, and the surface coating helps reduce corrosion. N48 indicates the magnetic grade; NdFeB grades commonly range from N35 to N52, with higher numbers generally indicating stronger magnets. The block shape is easy to position, provides a large contact area on flat surfaces and fits readily into a variety of holders.
The larger size suits demanding tasks such as strong attachments, handling, assembly and robust projects, with careful handling. Holding force depends strongly on the thickness and condition of the metal surface. It is greater on thick steel than on thin sheet metal.
Warning: keep away from children. Strong attraction can cause pinching injuries, and the magnets may break. Store them with spacers. Keep them away from bank cards, sensitive electronics and medical devices.
