Neodymium Block Magnet 10 x 10 x 2 mm N48
An NdFeB (neodymium) magnet provides high magnetic attraction for its size, making it useful for technical projects, DIY and industrial applications. Compared with ferrite, neodymium provides much greater magnetic attraction. A protective surface coating helps improve durability. N48 indicates the magnetic grade; NdFeB grades commonly range from N35 to N52, with higher numbers generally indicating stronger magnets. The rectangular shape is useful for frames, edges and applications requiring an elongated, stable magnet.
The 10×10×2 mm size provides a strong hold for practical tasks, including quick assemblies, attachments and technical projects. Holding force depends strongly on the thickness and condition of the metal surface. It is greater on thick steel than on thin sheet metal.
Warning: not suitable for children. Two magnets can snap together quickly, pinch fingers and crack or chip. Separate them carefully and avoid impacts. Keep them away from medical devices and objects sensitive to magnetic fields, including cards and electronics.
