Neodymium Ring Magnet 25 x 8 x 5 mm N35 - Diametrically Magnetised
A neodymium (NdFeB) ring magnet is very strong. It is magnetised in a strong magnetic field during manufacture, providing high magnetic attraction in a compact size. Compared with ferrite, neodymium provides much greater magnetic attraction. The magnet generally has a protective surface coating. N35 indicates the magnetic grade. NdFeB grades commonly range from N35 to N52, with higher numbers generally indicating stronger magnets. The ring magnet fits readily around a hole and can be used on a shaft or screw, or as a spacer.
A good choice where stronger holding force is needed and a ring that fits over a shaft or screw is useful. (Ø25/Ø8×5 mm) Paint, film or gaps noticeably reduce magnetic attraction. The magnet performs best on a flat, clean surface.
Warning: keep away from children. Swallowing magnets can be life-threatening. Seek immediate medical attention if swallowing is suspected. Magnets can snap together quickly and pinch fingers. They are hard but brittle, so do not allow them to collide. Keep them away from bank cards, sensitive electronics and medical devices.
