Neodymium Ring Magnet 22.5 x 8.1 x 15 mm N48
Neodymium (NdFeB) is among the strongest magnetic materials. The ring shape is practical because its central hole helps with mounting and alignment. Compared with ferrite, neodymium provides much greater magnetic attraction. The magnet generally has a protective surface coating. N48 indicates the magnetic grade. NdFeB grades commonly range from N35 to N52, with higher numbers generally indicating stronger magnets. The ring shape is useful for mounting on a shaft or screw, or for precise alignment and guidance. The central hole helps with these applications.
Larger sizes provide substantial magnetic attraction, suitable for strong attachments and robust projects, with careful handling. (Ø22.5/Ø8.1×15 mm) Paint, film or gaps noticeably reduce magnetic attraction. The magnet performs best on a flat, clean surface.
Warning: keep out of reach of children. Swallowing magnets poses a serious risk and requires immediate medical attention. Magnets can snap together suddenly, pinch skin and chip or break on impact. Separate them by sliding them apart. Keep them away from bank cards, sensitive electronics and medical devices such as pacemakers.
