Neodymium Ring Magnet 20 x 5 x 10 mm N48 with Countersunk Hole
A neodymium (NdFeB) ring magnet is very strong. It is magnetised in a strong magnetic field during manufacture, providing high magnetic attraction in a compact size. Compared with ferrite, neodymium provides much greater magnetic attraction. The magnet generally has a protective surface coating. N48 indicates the magnetic grade. NdFeB grades commonly range from N35 to N52, with higher numbers generally indicating stronger magnets. The ring shape is useful for shaft or screw mounting and precise alignment. The central hole helps with these applications. With a chamfered edge for more comfortable handling and a better fit.
At Ø20/Ø5×10 mm, this magnet provides a strong hold for workshop use, assembly, alignment and technical projects. (Ø20/Ø5×10 mm) Paint, film or gaps noticeably reduce magnetic attraction. The magnet performs best on a flat, clean surface.
Warning: keep away from children. Swallowing magnets can be life-threatening. Seek immediate medical attention if swallowing is suspected. Magnetic attraction is strong. Bring magnets together and separate them carefully to avoid pinching injuries and chipping. Keep them away from bank cards, sensitive electronics and medical devices.
