Neodymium Ring Magnet 12 x 4.5 x 5 mm N48 with Countersunk Hole
A neodymium (NdFeB) ring magnet is very strong. It is magnetised in a strong magnetic field during manufacture, providing high magnetic attraction in a compact size. It is much stronger than conventional ferrite magnets and generally has a protective coating because the material can corrode over time. N48 indicates the magnetic grade. NdFeB grades commonly range from N35 to N52, with higher numbers generally indicating stronger magnets. The ring shape is useful for shaft or screw mounting and precise alignment. The central hole helps with these applications. The corners are chamfered , making installation easier and reducing the risk of chipping at the edges.
The Ø12/Ø4.5×5 mm ring is useful for DIY projects, including lids, boxes, small holders and shaft or screw mounting. (Ø12/Ø4.5×5 mm) For best results, ensure direct contact with the surface. The magnet provides a particularly strong hold on solid steel.
Warning: keep away from children. Swallowing magnets can be life-threatening. Seek immediate medical attention if swallowing is suspected. Magnetic attraction is strong. Bring magnets together and separate them carefully to avoid pinching injuries and chipping. Keep them away from bank cards, sensitive electronics and medical devices such as pacemakers.
