Neodymium Ring Magnet 10 x 4 x 5 mm N48
Neodymium (NdFeB) is among the strongest magnetic materials. The ring shape is practical because its central hole helps with mounting and alignment. Compared with ferrite, neodymium provides much greater magnetic attraction. The magnet generally has a protective surface coating. N48 indicates the magnetic grade. NdFeB grades commonly range from N35 to N52, with higher numbers generally indicating stronger magnets. The ring shape is useful for mounting on a shaft or screw, or for precise alignment and guidance. The central hole helps with these applications.
At Ø10/Ø4×5 mm, this magnet is useful for magnetic catches, DIY, organisation and lighter attachments to steel. (Ø10/Ø4×5 mm) Holding force depends strongly on the thickness and condition of the metal surface. It is greater on thick steel and weaker on thin sheet metal.
Warning: keep away from children. Swallowing magnets can be life-threatening. Seek immediate medical attention if swallowing is suspected. Magnetic attraction is strong. Bring magnets together and separate them carefully to avoid pinching injuries and chipping. Keep them away from bank cards, sensitive electronics and medical devices.
