Neodymium Rod Magnet 6 x 15 mm N48
NdFeB (neodymium) magnets provide high magnetic attraction for their size, making them popular for technical and DIY applications. Alongside high magnetic attraction, the surface coating helps improve durability. N48 indicates the magnetic grade. NdFeB grades commonly range from N35 to N52, with higher numbers generally indicating stronger magnets. The cylindrical shape is practical: it fits readily into a hole or recess and provides good contact on flat metal surfaces.
At Ø6×15 mm, this magnet is useful for magnetic catches, DIY, organisation and lighter attachments to steel. (Ø6×15 mm) For best results, ensure direct contact with the surface. The magnet provides a particularly strong hold on solid steel.
Warning: not suitable for children. Swallowed magnets can cause serious injuries. Seek urgent medical attention. Magnets can snap together suddenly, pinch skin and chip or break on impact. Separate them by sliding them apart. Keep them away from bank cards, sensitive electronics and medical devices.
