Neodymium Rod Magnet 4 x 8 mm N35 Diametrically Magnetised epoxi bevonattal
A neodymium (NdFeB) cylinder magnet is very strong. It is magnetised in a strong magnetic field during manufacture, providing high magnetic attraction in a compact size. Compared with ferrite, neodymium provides much greater magnetic attraction. The magnet generally has a protective surface coating. N35 indicates the magnetic grade. NdFeB grades commonly range from N35 to N52. The cylindrical shape is practical: it fits readily into a hole or recess and provides good contact on flat metal surfaces.
The Ø4×8 mm cylinder is useful for DIY projects, including lids, boxes, small holders and quick attachments. (Ø4×8 mm) Holding force depends strongly on the thickness and condition of the metal surface. It is greater on thick steel and weaker on thin sheet metal.
Warning: keep out of reach of children. Swallowing magnets poses a serious risk and requires immediate medical attention. Magnetic attraction is strong. Bring magnets together and separate them carefully to avoid pinching injuries and chipping. Keep them away from bank cards, sensitive electronics and medical devices.
