Neodymium Disc Magnet 8 x 5 mm N35
A neodymium magnet (NdFeB) is small but very strong. It is made from a special alloy and magnetised in a strong magnetic field during manufacture. Its magnetic attraction is much greater than that of ferrite magnets, and a surface coating protects it against corrosion. The N35 magnet belongs to the NdFeB family, commonly ranging from N35 to N52; a higher number generally means greater magnetic attraction.
At Ø8 × 5 mm, this magnet provides a good hold on metal and is useful at home, in workshops and for a variety of projects. The metal material and thickness strongly affect performance. A thicker, flatter surface gives a better hold.
Warning: keep out of reach of children. Magnets can snap together suddenly, pinch skin and chip or break on impact. Handle them carefully when bringing them together or separating them. Keep them away from bank cards, hard drives, sensitive electronics and medical devices.
