Neodymium Disc Magnet 6 x 5 mm N48
Neodymium (NdFeB) is among the strongest magnetic materials, even in small sizes, and its stability makes it useful for many practical applications. Neodymium is much stronger than ferrite, and its protective coating helps prevent corrosion. N48 indicates the magnetic grade; a higher number generally means a stronger magnet, with NdFeB grades commonly ranging from N35 to N52.
The Ø6 × 5 mm size is suitable for DIY projects, small holders, catches and temporary attachments to steel. The actual hold depends on the contact surface and the thickness of the metal. Holding force is greater on thick steel than on thin sheet metal.
Warning: keep away from children. Strong attraction can cause pinching injuries, and the magnet can chip easily. Store magnets with spacers and avoid impacts. Keep them away from bank cards, sensitive electronics and medical devices.
