Neodymium Disc Magnet 5 x 4 mm N48
Neodymium (NdFeB) is among the strongest magnetic materials, even in small sizes, and its stability makes it useful for many practical applications. Compared with conventional ferrite magnets, neodymium provides much greater magnetic attraction. A protective coating helps improve durability. The N48 magnet belongs to the NdFeB family, commonly ranging from N35 to N52; a higher number generally means greater magnetic attraction.
At Ø5 × 4 mm, this magnet is useful for magnetic catches, workshop organisation, DIY projects and lighter attachments to metal surfaces. The metal material and thickness strongly affect performance. A thicker, flatter surface gives a better hold.
Warning: keep out of reach of children. Magnets can snap together suddenly, pinch skin and chip or break on impact. Handle them carefully when bringing them together or separating them. Keep them away from bank cards, sensitive electronics and medical devices.
