Neodymium Disc Magnet 4 x 3 mm N48
A neodymium magnet (NdFeB) is a very strong magnet produced by aligning the alloy particles in a strong magnetic field during manufacture. Neodymium is much stronger than ferrite, and its protective coating helps prevent corrosion. N48 indicates the magnetic grade; NdFeB grades commonly range from N35 to N52, with higher numbers generally indicating stronger magnets.
A good choice for detailed work such as hobbies, model making and electronics when a small magnet with high strength for its size is needed. For good results, use a clean metal surface that is as thick as possible. Any gap caused by thick paint or an uneven surface reduces holding force.
Warning: not suitable for children. Strong magnets can snap together suddenly, causing pinching injuries, and may break. Bring them together and separate them carefully. Keep them away from bank cards, sensitive electronics and medical devices.
