Neodymium Disc Magnet 18 x 3 mm N48
Neodymium (NdFeB) is among the strongest magnetic materials, even in small sizes, and its stability makes it useful for many practical applications. Its magnetic attraction is much greater than that of ferrite magnets, and a surface coating protects it against corrosion. The N48 magnet belongs to the NdFeB family, commonly ranging from N35 to N52; a higher number generally means greater magnetic attraction.
At Ø18 × 3 mm, this magnet is suitable for more demanding workshop attachments, including holders, jigs, removable assemblies and technical projects. For good results, use a clean metal surface that is as thick as possible. Any gap caused by thick paint or an uneven surface reduces holding force.
Warning: not suitable for children. Strong magnets can snap together suddenly, causing pinching injuries, and may break. Bring them together and separate them carefully. Keep them away from bank cards, sensitive electronics and medical devices.
