Neodymium Disc Magnet 17.5 x 10 mm N48 Diametrically Magnetised
Neodymium (NdFeB) is among the strongest magnetic materials, even in small sizes, and its stability makes it useful for many practical applications. Its magnetic attraction is much greater than that of ferrite magnets, and a surface coating protects it against corrosion. N48 indicates the magnetic grade; NdFeB grades commonly range from N35 to N52, with higher numbers generally indicating stronger magnets. Diametric magnetisation is useful in certain applications, such as rotating components. Check the orientation before installation.
The Ø17.5 × 10 mm size provides a strong, stable hold for workpiece holding, workshop organisation and everyday practical applications. For good results, use a clean metal surface that is as thick as possible. Any gap caused by thick paint or an uneven surface reduces holding force.
Warning: not suitable for children. Strong magnets can snap together suddenly, causing pinching injuries, and may break. Bring them together and separate them carefully. Keep them away from medical devices and objects sensitive to magnetic fields, including cards and electronics.
