Neodymium Disc Magnet 13 x 2 mm N48 cink
Neodymium (NdFeB) is among the strongest magnetic materials, even in small sizes, and its stability makes it useful for many practical applications. Its magnetic attraction is much greater than that of ferrite magnets, and a surface coating protects it against corrosion. N48 indicates the magnetic grade; NdFeB grades commonly range from N35 to N52, with higher numbers generally indicating stronger magnets. This version has a zinc coating that provides additional surface protection.
At Ø13 × 2 mm, this magnet provides a good hold on metal and is useful at home, in workshops and for a variety of projects. The actual hold depends on the contact surface and the thickness of the metal. Holding force is greater on thick steel than on thin sheet metal.
Warning: keep away from children. Strong attraction can cause pinching injuries, and the magnet can chip easily. Store magnets with spacers and avoid impacts. Keep them away from medical devices and objects sensitive to magnetic fields, including cards and electronics.
