Neodymium Disc Magnet 12 x 2 mm N50
Neodymium (NdFeB) is among the strongest magnetic materials, even in small sizes, and its stability makes it useful for many practical applications. Its magnetic attraction is much greater than that of ferrite magnets, and a surface coating protects it against corrosion. N50 indicates the magnetic grade; a higher number generally means a stronger magnet, with grades commonly ranging from N35 to N52.
At Ø12 × 2 mm, this magnet is useful for magnetic catches, workshop organisation, DIY projects and lighter attachments to metal surfaces. For good results, use a clean metal surface that is as thick as possible. Any gap caused by thick paint or an uneven surface reduces holding force.
Warning: keep out of reach of children. Magnets can snap together suddenly, pinch skin and chip or break on impact. Handle them carefully when bringing them together or separating them. Keep them away from medical devices and objects sensitive to magnetic fields, including cards and electronics.
