Neodymium Block Magnet 40 x 30 x 20 mm N52
A neodymium magnet (NdFeB) is a very strong magnet magnetised in a strong magnetic field during manufacture, providing high magnetic attraction in a compact size. It is much stronger than conventional ferrite magnets and generally has a protective coating because the material can corrode over time. N52 indicates the magnetic grade. NdFeB grades commonly range from N35 to N52, with higher numbers generally indicating stronger magnets. The block shape is easy to position, provides a large contact area on flat surfaces and fits readily into a variety of holders.
In larger sizes, an NdFeB block magnet provides extremely strong attraction, making it suitable for professional and industrial applications. Even a small gap caused by paint, tape or clearance noticeably reduces magnetic attraction. It performs best on solid steel.
Warning: keep out of reach of children. Magnets can snap together suddenly, pinch skin and chip or break on impact. Handle them carefully when bringing them together or separating them. Keep them away from medical devices and objects sensitive to magnetic fields, including cards and electronics.
