Neodymium Block Magnet 4 x 4 x 19 mm N35
A neodymium magnet (NdFeB) is very strong. It is magnetised in a strong magnetic field during manufacture, providing high magnetic attraction in a compact size. Compared with ferrite, neodymium provides much greater magnetic attraction. A protective surface coating helps improve durability. N35 indicates the magnetic grade. NdFeB grades commonly range from N35 to N52, with higher numbers generally indicating stronger magnets. This version magnetised along the length, with poles on the end faces. The field acts mainly along the length, which can be useful for edge mounting or directional attraction.
The 4×4×19 mm block is suitable for DIY projects, workshop organisation and lighter attachments to flat metal surfaces. Holding force depends strongly on the thickness and condition of the metal surface. It is greater on thick steel than on thin sheet metal.
Warning: keep out of reach of children. Magnets can snap together suddenly, pinch skin and chip or break on impact. Handle them carefully when bringing them together or separating them. Keep them away from bank cards, sensitive electronics and medical devices.
