Neodymium Block Magnet 102 x 8 x 20 mm N35
An NdFeB (neodymium) magnet provides high magnetic attraction for its size, making it useful for technical projects and practical attachments. Compared with ferrite, neodymium provides much greater magnetic attraction. A protective surface coating helps improve durability. N35 indicates the magnetic grade. NdFeB grades commonly range from N35 to N52, with higher numbers generally indicating stronger magnets. Magnetised Across the Width design with poles on the side faces, useful in assemblies where the field is required to act from the sides.
The larger design suits demanding applications, including attachments with high magnetic attraction and professional use. Even a small gap caused by paint, tape or clearance noticeably reduces magnetic attraction. It performs best on solid steel.
Warning: keep out of reach of children. Magnets can snap together suddenly, pinch skin and chip or break on impact. Handle them carefully when bringing them together or separating them. Keep them away from bank cards, sensitive electronics and medical devices.
