Neodymium Ring Magnet 6 x 2 x 5 mm N48
An NdFeB (neodymium) ring magnet provides high magnetic attraction for its size and fits readily into various holders and components. Compared with ferrite, neodymium provides much greater magnetic attraction. The magnet generally has a protective surface coating. N48 indicates the magnetic grade. NdFeB grades commonly range from N35 to N52, with higher numbers generally indicating stronger magnets. The central hole simplifies mounting and positioning, making it useful for frames, holders and repeatable installations.
This size suits compact applications, including small attachments and simple assemblies on flat metal surfaces. (Ø6/Ø2×5 mm) For best results, ensure direct contact with the surface. The magnet provides a particularly strong hold on solid steel.
Warning: keep out of reach of children. Swallowing magnets poses a serious risk and requires immediate medical attention. Magnets can snap together suddenly, pinch skin and chip or break on impact. Separate them by sliding them apart. Keep them away from bank cards, sensitive electronics and medical devices.
